Comparison of production wing shape to reproductions
The shape and details of both prototype and production wings are identical.
Only the material was changed from very hard to very soft.
Here are the tops of 3 wings, the top is production, the others reproductions. Middle has part numbers (most do not). Check the "4" or the "1" ... fonts are different. Check the shape of each end... very squared off and a bit shorter. Check its shine... very smooth and glossy compared to the rough and satiny production. Bottom has no numbers, only remnants from trying to copy an orginal. As a direct copy, at least the shape is correct from the bottom. Texture and sheen again far different than production. |

Here are the bottoms of the same 3 wings, top is production, others reproductions. For the middle, check the shape... ends squared off & entire wing flat as opposed to rounded Production. Texture and sheen of both repros are far different than production. |
Left is production, the others reproductions. For the middle one, the shape is wrong and still has the sloppy flashing hanging on the side. Right one is still off and pretty rough compared to the clean sharp edged cut of the orginal. |
One more angle to see all the issues previously mentioned when comparing to the production wing on the left. |
