These Pearlescent paints are incorrectly called Flourescent by many collectors.
Flourescent paints glow very brightly in the dark under a black light... these Pearlescent paint cars do not.
Pearlescent paints have shiny particles in the paint as well as more finely ground pigments which give it its color. -
