Comparison of (A) 71/72 US Olds 442 and (B) 73 HK Police Cruiser
The 1971/72 Olds 442 chassis was modified to make them into 1973 Police Cruiser chassis. The casting name was changed. A small tab was added to the side of the chassis by each wheel axle to provide extra support. The wheel strip was removed and replaced with independent straight axles. The part number was also changed as part of this process.
