The Earliest Interiors were not well supported within the chassis.  The Trunk lid also did not open easily as it would rub against the back of the interior when someone attempted to open it.  The casting changes resolved these problems.

Two ejector pins added, one to each side of Socket
An Interior support post was added to keep the interior lifted to the correct height in the rear so that the trunk lid could open easily without catching on the interior.
