This casting was designed and based on the Ford GT40 Mark IV, see the HISTORY tab for more details. The HK casting features an opening Rear Hatch under which you find an engine with a transmission and a Hatch Stop Block. All cars have Black interiors.
Most of the variations of this car surround the differences with the engraved lines on both the bodies and hatches. They come in both raised and recessed line versions as well as a combination. Earlier run cars always have recessed body lines, regardless of the hatch lines. Over time the recessed lines slowly wore and filled in on the car. Some of these can be found with almost no lines showing. This was eventually fixed by changing the tool to have raised lines. Late run versions can be found with Capped wheels and tabbed bases.
