This casting was designed and based on the real life Chaparral 2G, see the HISTORY tab for more details. The HK casting features an opening Rear Hatch under which you find an engine with a transmission and a Hatch Stop Block. All cars have Black interiors.

Most of the differences surround the engraved lines on the bodies and hatches. They come in both raised and recessed line versions as well as a combination. Earlier run cars always have recessed body lines, regardless of the hatch lines. Late run versions can be found with Capped wheels and tabbed bases.

There are two variations in the engine areas, with Full Exhaust Pipes (The Earliest) and Filled in Pipes (2nd version)   These account for aproximately 70% of all of the HK Ford MKIVs

These are harder to find then the recessed body line cars and account for only 30% of the HK Ford MKIVs   Capped Wheel cars and Tabbed base cars are all very late run cars and add to the rarity
