HK Hoods - Comparison of A & B

Three areas were changed when comparing hoods
1. The Scoops were filled and closed. 2. The Scoops are much thicker. 3. The Hinges have been enlarged. NOTE: Fake Open Hood Scoop(OHS) hoods: The most reliable easy way to tell if a hood is a true OHS hood (A) is to inspect the hood hinges, under an open hood or through the wheel well. |

The wider and thicker hood hinge of a non-OHS hood(B) is obvious. The fake OHS hoods have drilled out later(B) hoods. Some do a better job than others. While there are many things to look at, checking this area is simple and 100% bullet proof. |
